Apphia Community Centre is a charity based in the suburb of Dar es Salaam, dedicated to helping vulnerable children who face hardship, instability, and limited access to essential support. Our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing environment where every child feels valued, protected, and empowered to build a brighter future.

We offer practical assistance such as nutritious meals, clothing, school supplies, and access to education, ensuring that children’s basic needs are met with dignity and care. Beyond essentials, we create opportunities for learning, creativity, and emotional growth through after‑school programmes, arts activities, mentorship, and wellbeing support. These programmes help children develop confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging.
